    The Little Knife That Could

I like this little knife, even though there is no nail nick and it says China on the blade! The fit of the scales is good and there is no gapping on the backspring. The blade is sharp enough out of the box. It is a good size for its purpose: a paring knife or a fruit knife. The triangle motif on the bolsters evokes the Islamic history of days gone by in Spain. Attractive, sturdy enough, easy to carry and deploy.

    Camping paring knife

A little misguided by the pictures. Not enough to return it though. It will be fine. On one side of the blade is a China stamp running along the back toward the middle. Then there is also a stainless stamp opposite to the brand name Rite Edge as seen above. For me the less letters and branding the better. The knife also claps down with the first contact being the middle of the sharp edge, where it starts to curve away into a point. The purpose of the nub located just next to the hinge is to prevent this. The nub is not big enough and the edge will get dull after many openings and closings. Even a dull knife will cut into fruit, however this is a failure of quality controle. Not bad but there are better knives out there that are the same style and size. Worth the extra few bucks in my opinion.

  • Perfect size and weight, fits really well in your hand. I use it for a utility knife, almost like an x-acto-knife

Great! light, sharp, good style, I used it for cutting tape on a wood floor. The thinness is really perfect for the job. The blade held up well, and worked like an x-acto knife. It's just perfect for cutting details into tape.

  • So pleased

I am stunned by the quality and craftsmanship of this little knife for the price. I bought three for gifts and was totally impressed with the consistency of each product to a standard. Blade grind , metal and wood fit and finish , and a nice tight action . A toothpick of this size , in my experience , is generally considered a light duty gentleman’s pocket knife. It gives me great pleasure to enjoy a price of fruit pared with this little devil as it fits by design in my hand so comfortably. Thanks for a nice product

  • bad handle design

The curved handle into your palm with a very pointy end is very uncomfortable jabbing into your palm as you carve an apple, etc., towards you, if you are cutting away from your body then it is fine.
