WOW! Who knew an air filter could do this.
I bought a 16 year old diesel pusher RV in 2014. It ran, but didn't go through the gears very smoothly. I thought the problem was probably bad fuel or fuel filter. I went through several tanks of fuel and a new fuel filter without much improvement. Someone told me I might need to change the air filter, so I went to an RV dealer and tried to buy one. He told me he had never sold one and that people tended to just blow them out with compressed air. I looked that trick up on YouTube and learned how to do it. Clouds of dirt came out of that old air filter, and sure enough performance improved, but not quite up to my expectations. I bought this new filter and was amazed at the difference in performance. The drive train now works its way through all the gears, my top speed improved from about 64 to over 70, and I can't wait to see the new fuel efficiency.
