Nice addition to the bike
I bought the trunk kit in slightly damaged condition. Needed some minor repair where a luggage rack had been added on the top. The rest of the parts we were in brand new condition. Due to the damage the kit was greatly reduced in price. While the trunk kit is well fitted and easily mounted to the bike, it is expensive (list price around $ 1400- 1500) which is asignificant factor. Because of the damage to the one I bought, the cost was less than half -- making the decision to add the trunk a much easier. All of the necessary parts for mounting are included giving the installation a factory look. These trunks only come in gloss black which means an additional expense for color match painting (something I did myself for around $120 -- likely will cost more at the body shop).
