    Perfect!

    First quality Mazda brand product. Exact fit for a 1992 2600 fuel injected engine. Virtually all 2600 engines NEED this 192 degree thermostat, NOT the 180 degree version, to attain proper operating temperatures. Plus, this Mazda OEM thermostat has two 'motors' with small and large openings that activate at different temperatures, which is much safer for (less chance of heat-related damage to) aluminum engine blocks and heads. Highly recommend this thermostat.

    Precisely what Mazda Engineers require for Mazda vehicles

    This it the MOST appropriate thermostat for Mazda cars. It has two valves that open at different temperatures. Aftermarket Thermos do not, and that harms the engine parts, especially the Alum. head.

    Defective part

    New thermostat and it did not open. Wasted 2 gallons of antifreeze and two hours thinking I just needed to burp the system. Placed the thermostat in a pan of water on the stove with a thermometer. Turns out the thermostat was bad.
