I originally purched this to remember how things were forty years ago. It was the wrong decision, as it rekindled my love all that was and is Kirby. I see now how he influenced modern day larger than life epics. Think STAR WARS, six years before it came out!!! What is not to like about this third volume except that it is the second to last of Kirby's vision. After finishing this volume, the intensity seems to drop off,and the ideas start to trickle. Years later would consider it the height of Kirby's Kreativity. It quite sad to remember this series (presented in chronological order) was not the success and analyzed as it is today. I found the final pages are most exciting to look at, as one can compare original art to what the printed page looks like. As Kirby would say; Buy It; then read it!!! In the end, as a fifteen year old when these issues came out, I was amazed; now as a fifty-five year old; I am awed!!! My the Source be with you, all that read this for the first time.Read full review
