2010 Kia Rio Let it snow...................
I was glad to see Sumitomo,Japan on the side pf the tire! That gives me confidence the product will perform. It wasnt always that way, The Falken brand struggled for years trying to gain some of the market. Falken used different manufacturers over time which never really built the quality product that Falken needed, born out of Ohtsu the Falken brand targeted the performance market. Ohtsu technically was born out of Sumitomo an so the story goes? I decided to go with the Espia for it is somewhat aggressive and asymetrical (inside outside) rather than directional, but asymetrical tires can also be directional. Anyway the tires spin well on the balancer with little weight, on the car they feel stable and snappy, low noise and smooth. Haven't had them on snow yet but i'm confident they will do well.
