For Beatles fans, the only real criterion that determines whether a CD is "good" or "bad", assuming one can afford the cost, is the sound quality. I am not a musician or music "expert" and have no interest in trying to pass myself off as one. However, I have been listening to the Beatles since the beginning. The Abbey Road 50th Anniversary CD delivers high-quality sound. If you like Abbey Road, you will really like this CD. Play it on good equipment with the sound cranked up, especially the medley on the "2nd side" and, for many of us who were fortunate enough to experience the '60s in our youth, it will bring a smile to your face, perhaps a race of adrenaline, and a wistful regret that we can not revisit that time, just for one day. . . Buy the CD. You won't be sorry.

This order arrived from the UK to Canada in a surprisingly short period. The Giles Martin remix brings much to recommend this CD. I have the original Parlophone CD and the differences are stark on my system, but aside from more prominent bass and drums, vocal clarity, better stereo separation, and top end detail, it may not be as obvious on an average mid-fi audio system.

Later in their career effort which stands the test of time. Personal favorites are George Harrison's work. Under rated song writer and brilliant musician. Some real gems on this album. Many of which Sir Paul McCartney plays to this day on tour.
