The brick shxxhouse of tires
I bought these tires because I wanted to be able to ride on the beach and I thought the extra width would help. I ended up with a little more than I wanted. These tires are BIG and HEAVY. They fit the rims well, can handle 60 PSI and have deep tread (especially on the shoulders). I weighted them at 5.5 lbs for the pair (a couple pounds or more above 26x1.8 or 1.9 tires). They're so large I'll have to readjust my wheel rim brake shoes. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars but I can't fault the tires for being extra heavy duty. Quality build, Frank likes them....
Put these tires on a frankenbike built for the city, heavier than I imagined but they roll light and very quite. Appear to be directional but did not find marking on tire case. So far thats a win win.
