for me it does not simulate a bow for practice purposes it is basically 2 rubber bands that you either shorten or lengthen to increase or decrease the poundage if you are use to a holding weight of say 18lbs the bands are going to be real loose before you start drawing. there is no back wall for tension shooters and the app that you can download does not work all the time. at the very most the bow is a Game not a training aid
Look at how many are sold with a broken phone holder. They fracture off at the same spots because of 1) Poor design of only two thin pillars to take all the twisting stress of a heavy phone being placed and pulled from the holder's rails 2) Wrong type of plastic used for phone holder. 3) Small anchor points' surface area.
Bad design and cheap materials also contribute to the folding point's clamps from breaking at the hinge pins. This item's achilles heel are it's poor design and cheap materials rivaling that of a junky toy found in drug stores. Their claim is that professional Olympic archers use this to train...I don't think so. Accubows are Chinese JUNK. I purchased 4 of them and they are all the same. They could have been made of aluminum (like a real bow) for what they charge for them. Some Republican business owner is making the cash off unsuspecting consumers.
