After doing countless research on which is the best gun cleaning kit, I chose the brand Otis! They are made in the USA and have a lifetime warranty on their products, I have many firearms with different calibers so I chose this kit, and for 100$ you won’t be disappointed! All pros, no cons. I’m ocd about my guns. I price shop, compare product quality, etc. THIS IS THE GUN CLEANING KIT YOU WANT! It would be fair at twice the price! Thankfully the folks at Otis just make the best gun care gear on the market for the price of the other junk. You can go to Wally World (where they no longer allow you to carry (🙄) and pay this much for some tackle box with half the gear in it, or get this. Don’t shop at WM and don’t pass this kit up. Perfect for any gun owner who has multiple caliber firearms or even a newbe looking to get started.
I used Otis products when I was in the Army 15 years ago and this case is just as good as I remember their products to be. This Elite kit is perfect for anyone that already has multiple firearm calibers or for someone just getting started. It has Everything you would need to start as far as scrubbing tools, bore brushes, and barrel patches. You might want to add a cleaning solution and a bottle of good lube. The Complete Gun Cleaning Kit?
Very happy with my OTIS Elite 1000 gun cleaning kit - it had cleaning kit for most rifle calibres (cannot think of one it doesn't cover but there is bound to be some obtuse one it does not), shotguns and even kit to clean optics. The system is based around plastic coated wire pull through which is fine although I will add some rods for shotguns which I prefer. It contains a lot of interesting tools for cleaning out nooks and crannies to standard fittings and seems very comprehensive. The bag and containers all seem durable. Being gun related it did attract the attention of HM Customs on import to the UK who charged duty and a 'handling charge' but you cannot win all the time.
