I enjoyed this printer, it works great, sometimes a little too great. It takes a while to figure out how to fully use this, for people not wanting to learn something completely new, this might not be for you. You can get simple prints with this, but you can find something cheaper that does that. The only complaint is it is heavily relied on purchasing cartridges from brother.

I can't compare this label maker to any others as this is my first. I find it relatively easy to use after making a few batches of labels and am still toying with the settings getting it dialed in. Prints look good from a few feet away, but close up.... not so much. Luckily for me I'm not always looking at the labels from 4" away. Overall happy with this label maker and recommend

This Brother P-touch is very easy to use and will be nice for scrapbooking and card making projects, among other things. The only thing I do not like is that the LCD screen does not light up and is hard to see no matter how you adjust the contrast.
