Redcat Blackout is a great entry level truck. Very tunable vehicle and easy to get extra parts for. I had a little trouble with the steering servo. Replaced it after 3 runs. Awesome RC Truck for Adventure & Thrill
I actually Love this truck! I Didn't relize there was a brushless version until it was too late! But I figured what the heck. Now I have a hopup (upgrade) project! It actually runs fantastic on stock setup, So I can imagine how it'll be after the hopup! I Definitely recommend this truck for low budget & or even the beginner hobbyist! If you don't plan on doing upgrades etc, at least buy spare parts, nessessary tools, and a few higher capacity batteries so you can keep having fun with it!!!! Good quality runs great. The reason I bought this one was the availability of replacement parts but as of now after running it through gravel pits and dirt it’s holding up great.
