I have an older model of the Oster blender which I use often. The rubber ring got dry and brittle and I was lucky enough to fine just the top (jar portion) at a yard sale. Now that ring too has become brittle and broken. I was going to try and make my own gasket from an inner tube used for a car. When I saw this one for only pennies I had to have it. It fits perfectly and is far more flexible than I ever remember my original one. Thank you for selling such a useful replacement part. I am 60 and I'm sure it will outlive me. So you bought a Jeep with a back up camera and you want to put a team logo cover over the spare tire? You buy these gaskets. They are EXACTLY the right size. You remove the cover to the back up camera, (Using the tool in your glove box) put the tire cover back on, and make a mark where the cover touches the apex of the camera. Remove the tire cover, and stick a pin in the spot you marked. Turn the tire cover over. Center the gasket over the pin on the inside of the tire cover, so that the pin is closer to the top of the gasket then the bottom, (about a third of the way from the top, not the center.). Glue the gasket in place. To make sure it doesn’t slide during the next step,use a marking pen to trace the inner diameter. Then pick up the tire cover and make a cut in the middle of the circle. Make pie cuts all around, and fold the points back over the gasket. Glue down the points to hold them in place. Then take the tire cover and put it back on the spare tire. The hole you have created will fit perfectly. Then put the camera cover back on and lock it in place.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
