Good value and quality for replacement remote
Functions work the same as the remote it replaced. Cost is lower than other retailers. Pairing with your existing alarm system is a multi-step process. You can find the pairing instructions with an online search. A benefit to replacing the remote only is that your existing alarm system should still have its original programmed functions. So, once the remote is paired, it should not have to be reprogrammed - it should work right away.

I wasn't sent the correct product - the one in the photo is the one that I needed, however I got a completely different one. I was going to return it however I opened it to see if it would maybe work (thinking that's why they sent it to me). However, it isn't compatible. So, now I'm out my money

Much better than the original remote.
The back covers broke on both the original remotes and were held together with tape. This design is much better. It might be a little hared to replace the battery, but that is worth it to not have the remote reset itself all the time because the back is loose.

I bought a 2007 Hyundai Tucson that had a Viper remote start installed by previous owner with two very well used key chains that we were told were not working, maybe needed a battery. After installing new batteries, neither worked so I ordered the replacement fob for the equipment and after a little over an hour we had it installed and working. (Now, I was not all that excited about the remote start as it's spring) but to be able to lock and unlock the doors using the fob is great!
