Hard to pick up small trash
I use it to pick up trash in my neighborhood. The extra length is great for that but the handle is not ergonomic for the length and its weight. It is tiring to keep holding it the way I use it. It is also not easy to pick up small flat item on the ground. I use these for picking up trash. Its length is a plus and it securely holds items. It cannot grab large diameter bottles because it only opens so far. The fact that its a stick means it works to dislodge bottle caps embedded in soil. Its developed a problem where when you pull on the handle the end piece does not close completely. Its like the string stretched. Held together by a string...
It was great if you never wanted to fold it. When it folds up, it is held together by a string. This string also is used for the tension between the handle and the grip. Unfortunately, this string is not very strong and broke after a few times of it being folded. A broken string also means you are unable to use the grabber. Had to throw it away.
