    Vintage transformer

    Its very relaible the only two flaws that this patricular transformer came with is that it does mot turn off using the top control handle and the whisle handle was very lose and now it's not functioning properly

    Great little Lionel multi-function 90 watt transformer.

    This Lionel 4090 transformer is absolutely perfect in every aspect. All fuctions perform perfect and all terminal voltages are spot on. I checked the whistle function with two different 2689W whistle tenders and both functioned correctly as well as forward/reverse direction against a Lionel 1666 locomotive and that also worked correctly. Fantastic small 90 watt transformer.
