Includes LP conversion kit for easy change over. Two angle brackets allow for positioning heater up and out of the way. Works thermostat, Item# 173641 (sold separately). Note: Installation requires an 8ft. clearance from the floor and will not pass code with less than 8ft.

Great little heater
I was a bit skeptical of buying a hanging furnace that didn't have a "furnace name". To my surprise, this heater is really well made! It is power vented (exhaust chimney). Electronic ignition (no pilot light) The blower fan is super quiet with great air flow. I heat my 26' x 32' garage with the 50,000 BTU unit. It works perfect. The unit came with a natural gas, gas valve and a L.P. conversion kit. It was VERY easy to install. I hung the unit, converted the gas valve, ran the gas line, ran the electrical and ran the chimney out in little more than half a day. It works GREAT! Good Idea, poor electronics, unreliable
I am a building contractor in Northern Michigan and bought one for my garage, wanted to stop cutting wood for the outside boiler, bought one for the shop as well, not installed yet. The one in the garage was working well I thought, so I ordered two more for heat while under construction on our project. Two weeks to the day, the one in the shop failed, no power to the mother board, but that next day, the to new ones arrived and I had to swap one of the new ones right away. The new one works half the time, I have to keep checking it but it come on if I turn it off and on again. I have paint, lots of paint in the garage, so I can't let it freeze. Long story short, have tried to call several times for help resolving the problem but the wait is much longer than I had time for, but expect to get through soon. The heater would be a great heater, but there are some bugs that from other reviews, haven't been addressed over a long period of time. Electronics and maybe a valve issue on the second one I installed in the garage. Reliability is the name of the game, who has time to be playing with these type issues, especially with sub zero nights and single digit days!
