  • Great Direct Entry Timer

Pros: - The best feature of this timer is the direct entry of the amount of time you want. When my “old faithful” direct entry timer failed, I bought a timer that didn’t have direct entry. After a frustrating week of use, I order this timer. - The timer has two modes: you can enter a time, push the start button and it will count down or you can push the start button and it will count up until you push the stop button. - You can set the alarm for either the vibrate alarm or the sound alarm using the slide switch on the back of the unit. In count down mode, the alarm sounds for a minute when it reaches zero and then quits. However the timer continues to counts up so you know how long it’s been since the timer went off. - The alarm chime volume is loud enough to hear but is not overpowering. - The face is metal and matches my stainless steel appliances. - There are four methods of storing the timer. (1) flip up hook (2) magnet (3) belt clip (4) kickstand - It takes (1) standard AAA battery instead of button batteries. Cons: -The vibrate function is a nice option but I probably won’t use it much since my primary use of the timer is for baking. -The magnet on the clip is not real strong and tends to slide down the side of my refrigerator when the door is closed. Since it has a nice kickstand on the back, I keep it on the counter to avoid an accidental fall to the floor. Overall pleased with the timer and would recommend it to others.

  • Good direct entry timer.

This was the least expensive timer that allowed direct entry of the time you wanted to keep. Once time runs out, you can press start/stop twice and it will reset to the time you had set. The only thing that would make this better is if you could do this in the middle of a count-down. If you stop it in the middle of it counting down, it will only restart where it left off. Or you could 'clear' it, but then have to re-type in the time you want to set. The clip on the back is nice, but it would be nice if you could lay it flat and not have it rock on the clip. Overall I like it - just a few things could have made it REALLY worth the money!

  • Handy , easy use , reliable timer.

Very easy to use. Direct entry, set and reset features are simple to follow. Times over 99 minutes, an added plus. Easy to read , compact design. Only issue.... magnet on back is weak, not a problem for counter top use.

  • Timer Comparison

I purchased several timers to compare the alarm noise. This timer came in first place. For persons who are hard of hearing, this time will get your attention. Also, because of the ability to digitally enter the time, it is very easy to use. Very highly recommended. .

  • Fantastic countdown timer

An ideal timer for my purpose - sun gazing. Easy to program and keep track of my progression. Have to add 10 sec. each day I sun gaze. The memory and direct entry make it a breeze. Nothing out there in stop watches that can do this, and with a quality product and low price to boot. The audio alarm is a bit week for some users, but I use the vibration mode, since I can't look at the sun and a timer at the same time. All-in-all this is a great and versatile timer for a low cost. Bought a second one for other uses.

  • CDN pocket timer

Works fine once you get used to the way you enter the time period you wish to set before the buzz or vibration goes off. I removed the functional belt clip on mine so it fits more comfortably in my pocket. Large numbers for the count-down in time - so you can set it on a surface or clip it to a shelf edge.

  • 10 digit input pad

One of very few that have a 10 digit input pad. Perfect replacement for a warn out alternate brand. Meets my requirement.

  • Replaces my 20 year old one with exact same layout and functionality

The old one has been having issues for years (double registrering, or not registering presses). This one has the same layout and same functionality. I only now learned that it can count up, if on zero when START/STOP is pressed (20 years not knowing that). Don't know why no nice direct entry timers are available in the UK. This was sent from USA. Worth the extra money. This new version also has a switch to select vibrate or normal alarm. Oh, and the logo at the top wiped off using just water. I don't mind.

  • This is the one that you want

This is the one that you want. It's not particularly pretty but it has big buttons that work well, which is not the case with the cuter and smaller timers. And direct-entry is what you want. You DO NOT want to stand there wiggling a button to make the display increment or decrement and waiting for it to get to where you want it. You want to punch in the time and go. I had this same timer with a different brand name and it lasted for many years with several-times-a-day use.
