Squirrel Proof Bird Feeder
I have had two of this type bird feeder for approximately 20 years. Mine is attached to a metal pole in my yard. This feeder is the GREATEST anti-squirrel feeder there is. ABSOLUTELY no way a pesky squirrel can gain entry to my bird seeds. For those saying the bottom falls off is full of it. You just have to pay attention to what you are doing. I’m a little disappointed at the escalation in price however. But I assume that’s the name of the game in today’s market place. The shipping price just seems to be JUST A LITTLE TOO STEEP😳

It keeps the bird feed for the birds.
However, the listing as I remember it said this product was being discontinued by the manufacturer so I bought one to add to our feed lot. Shortly after paying what I consider a premium price, I found out Menards carry them at half what I paid.

durable and it really works
I bought this same feeder several years ago and decided I needed another one. When the squirrel gets on it, it slides right off. Even if it does make it to the seed dispenser the tension bar shuts off and it can't get to the seed. It really works by stopping the squirrels from eating all the seed.

Does what it says
This our 2nd and 3rd Stop a Squirrel Bird Feeder. Our original one finally rusted out after some 20+ years but no squirrel ever got in it. We have seen many very unhappy squirrels over the years. We have recommended this feeder to our friends with one comment--"It works!"

Great bird feeders. Strong and well build.
I bought two of these and they seem to be indestructible. They are made of steel that's coated. I put some silicone on the top to make it slippery for the squirrels.

Does not stop squirrels.
This is my second one. Original rusted out. Painted finish is not rustproof. I plan to paint this one with some rust proof paint. It is not squirrel proof. Squirrels easy learn to hang from the inside and eat to their hearts content. I have revised the feeder so that it is actually squirrel proof and still allows cardinals and smaller birds access without a problem. That is why I have purchased the second feeder. I've tried them all. I have purchased 20ish feeders this is is the only one that is actually squirrel proof after my changes.
