Surprisingly accurate and well detailed
This model is in my opinion, one of the better 1/43 scale models in the Yat Ming repertoire. Everything appears to be in the correct proportion, unlike many other models in this scale (including some very expensive ones) that tend to have one glaring inaccuracy or another. Everything that's supposed to be chrome is, or is at least painted silver, and the black edging around the windows give it a real look of quality, especially for a model in this price rang. The interior detailing is very simple but adequate. It's also one of the few VW Samba van models available in this scale with the windows in the roof. I have this sitting on a shelf with other models by Premium X, Spark, and Minichamps and it holds its own quite well in that vaunted atmosphere. Sometimes Yat Ming really gets it right, and this is a very nice example of that.
