I am an avid fisherman. I fish 70 to 80 days a year and have four children that fish with me. We have a ton of gear and many types of reels. Over the years I have now moved to almost completely Okuma Convector reels because they are so reliable, low maintenance and low cost. I have had 3 of these reels for years and they are still going strong when other have broken and are now in the garbage. Buy with confidance you won't find a better kine counter for the money. There are nicer one for twice the cost but not in the sub $100 range.
Only few companies make left hand reels,so my limited choices led me to Okuma
When works it works fine, however after few (3)trolling trips the reverse clicker broke. :(
Good value when you get one that lasts.
Mine did not
Can in proper box but by just looking at it it’s very obviously been used was looking forward to using on my charter boat but I don’t trust what I have gotten
