Not for servers, normal backplate, runs small
The item is for sure like the other buyers said, running a bit small in the inner cutout. For 12$ I would expect a perfect fit. Height is perfect for mounting. If they gave you the 4 plastic 1mm high washers! Instead it has a .5mm tape on it. Had to tare it off anyhow cause like other buyers said they had to grind it out some to make it fit the cup holder backplate. Metal burs all over it after. Dissaspointed in the product. It for sure is not a passive heatsink super micro socket backplate. This looks like it fits a normal non server type socket.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

MAKE YOUR PRODUCT LONGER AND WIDER BEFORE YOU PUT IT OUT THERE, DO SOME HOME WORK.
this back plate does not fit the LGA 1366 HAD TO TAKE IT TO A MACHINE SHOP TO HAVE THEM GRIND IT OUT TO FIT. MORE HASSLE AND EXSPENCE THAN IT WAS WORTH,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Check soder points first on back of mobo
(Not a bad review= information for the next guy) Ordered for a sabertooth x58 noctura, combo, mobo was used and no back plate, had to drill three holes on edge of plate to make room for the soder points, its not pretty but it works, unable to bend after I drilled three 1/4 inch holes into the edge on one side the plate is stainless steel or chrome and ate up some bits, arrived timely, good price, would buy again after I check the soder pointsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New
