Thermometer works, the clamp doesn't.
The device works fine when it comes to monitoring temperature. It reacts quickly to temperature changes. The unit has one weakness, and it may be a non-starter for some users. The clamp used to hold the thermometer in place is flimsy and weak. It is impractical for affixing the unit steadily to a shallow pot—that is, one that is eight inches or less in depth.
