Hartz Flea Collars is made with light weight. materials.

The collars have a nice scent. I have used Hartz products on my pets for many years with wonderful results. Hartz flea collars are great at quickly eliminating fleas and other pests that drive your pet crazy. I use Hartz Flea Collars on my dog and cats.

CAUSES SIEZURES IN MY CAT SO BAD SHE PEES HERSELF

This brand of collar has caused my kitty to have SIEZURES. Bad enough that she pees herself. I will never again purchase this product or brand again. I am very angry and disappointed. I do not reccomend this to anyone to use. Bite the bullet. Spend the extra money and get Frontline. For your pet's sake thier health and safety and comfort. Please purchase Another brand or consult your vet first.

  • My sweet Kitty actually likes this collar! . Thought he would try and take it off (like he did the others) but he seems not to mind this Hartz collar!

Fantastic product and so very easy to put on!! .. Has a pleasant smell also!! .. My sweet Kitty loves to run in the bushes and was constantly itching. Since he has worn the collar, no more itching!! .. The collar is working non-stop to get rid of any fleas that hop on for a ride and a drink of his precious fluids!! .. So very happy now!! .. So is my sweet boy! (:

  • Cost effective yet ineffective

When you have four dogs and two cats, fleas will be a part of your life regardless of circumstance. So I bought these collars. I've seen virtually no difference I tested this against a seresto collar and the seresto naturally performed better but still not perfect. All in all, I don't feel collars work well

  • Breakaway buckle twists

The Breakaway buckle twists and stays in an angled position (not straight circle around my cat's neck. Every time a make it straight, it goes back to a "V" shape. Doesn't "seem" to bother my cat, but it's still not right.

  • Arrived broken

The collar arrived quickly and as described, but when I opened the package the clip was broken in 3 places. It seems to be cheap plastic, and I know is it's a break away collar but it seems like it would've broke easy anyway had it not already been so.

  • Flea collars do not offer affective flea control.

Seemed to irritate the cat more than the fleas. The menthol smell from the collar was too much to bear for us and the cat. It caused the skin under the collar to become aggravated, making the cat to scratch even more. Speaking to a vet about it, she said flea control is difficult and that collars are very limited in their affect. A combination of flea poison application on the back of the neck combined with soapy baths is more affective.

  • Failure

All four kitties are still scratching. One has worn patches of fur off with his scratching and licking. The first time I ordered these was last year and they seemed to work. At least Tom wasn't collecting any more ticks. No fleas and Suzie and Clawdia seemed pest free. Not this year though. Taj is a mess. No sign of an allergic reaction.

  • Not as good as it used to be

I never had a problem with Hartz before, but even with these on my cats, it still doesn't keep the fleas away on my them. Not sure if the fleas are just immune to all the chemicals now or not, but I've tried everything for them on my cats and nothing seems to work.

  • Hartz flea collars

It really works. Sargents suck it makes the whole room smell bad. It's strong and not to mention the cat has to breathe it.
