Record of Achievement Encouraged
I have been homeschooling for many years. I find that giving the report card to the student helps them to see where they are at in their accomplished subjects, as well as allowing them to have some vision of where they need to apply more effort. The character aspects give them the ability to see themselves the way others see them. This also gives them the opportunity to apply more effort on areas that are lacking here as well. I also keep all my records in case I am asked about my homeschoolers' progress. This gives me a hard copy to go along with all of the quizzes and tests that I keep. I am a hard-core old-school person who doesn't just 'trust' that the school will have our records on file... and to just send everything via e-mail and hope that those records are 'always safe' is not in my vocabulary. I want the hard copy of everything in MY files as well. I LOVE these cards!
