Less room for improvement.
I guess since it fits a variety of explorer type guitars, it's not a perfect fit. A bit too roomy. I have to put padding under bottom of the body, so neck sits in the indent properly. And doesn't move around. Perhaps a simple solution is to put extra piece of foam to compensate for different size guitars. I have a Jackson kelly. Great Guitar Case!!!

Very surprised….VERY pleased!!
I was worried….I bought a Dean Z guitar which is exactly like a Gibson Explorer except for the headstock. The headstock is large and V shaped. I was worried that it wouldn’t fit into this case. Guess what?!? IT DID!!!! I am beyond pleased!!! Great case!!!
