Works Great!
This fits perfect on my Remington 700 Long Range .300 WinMag. You just have to get the right one for your gun. There is the Make and Model. Short or Long Action. Caliber of Bullet. This will help when choosing. I chose this one based on it having a cut-out section for the bolt when removing your spent shell casing. It also comes with fasteners to mount on gun. UTG products tend to be underrated
Most UTG products I've purchased are underrated as far as quality. People want to bash a lot of products that are 'made in China' but it's not all junk. (i know UTG does have some made in USA stuff as well). This mount is solid steel and fits tight on the receiver. This scope mount fits the Remington 700 just the way it's supposed to. I choose to use blue threadlocker when I install a scope mount...how you do it is up to you. This mount offers more versatility, in my opinion, than the normal two-piece mounting system or even the Weaver style one-piece mount. Another plus, you can always mount a set of backup sights to this rail in the event of a catastrophic failure of your mounted optic. You'd have an extremely short sight radius but it would do for short to medium range (as your eyesight will allow) and could make the difference between bagging and tagging or going home empty-handed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
