One of my very favorite knives.
My favorite spyderco knife; the Original GB. It has the most comfortable/secure ergos of any knife I’ve ever handled. The handle shape is well thought out. Function precedes structure. Blade steel, M4, good stuff. Blade shape is unusual but, as Mr Bradley would have it, useful. Blade shape is very non-threatening. To me I see the knife as iconic, a work of art and, a heavy duty tool. The knife is a tank. Overall, this collaboration between Gayle Bradley and Spyderco is a home run. I think it’s the best knife spyderco ever produced.

Like the GB1 better than the GB2
Both knives are awesome but there's something about that iconic 'hump' about the Spydie-hole that visually appeals to me. I also like the heavier feel of the GB1 compared to the GB2 Wonderfully overbuilt
