  • Alot of money for such a thin little book.

It was an awfully thin book for the money I paid. I thought the complete philosophical scientific, and science fiction essays written by K. Tsiolkovsky would be included. Alas it was a dry, Soviet era propaganda piece that seems to allege that ALL progress in jet and rocket research was by Russians. It is true that many Russian scientists and engineers did make great advances in both theoretical and practical applications of rocketry, but they were by no means the only ones. A good bio of Robert Goddard would be a better investment of time and money.
