Well used for Whitewater river guide
My local outdoors store wanted $68 for this item and it was $20+ cheaper on eBay. This jacket is useful for rescue and is visible with its reflectors. It’s highly comfortable and doesn’t get in the way when paddling. The only thing is when I had the whistle attached to the side like that in the picture, it somehow fell out and got snagged on the raft. Making the zipper teeth uneven and now I have a broken zipper. It’s a great value online, never buy full priced items in-stores!!!

Doesn't get in the way when moving
I'm 172cm (5'8") and 73kg (163lbs) with an athletic build 40-42 chest. The vest fits very well after using the adjustment straps. I use this mainly for kayaking and the higher back pad lets me sit comfortably in the seat. After a few minutes, I didn't notice I was wearing it. It wasn't bulky. While standing on the beach, I unzipped the vest completely. I jumped up and down, and flailed my arms around to see if it would fall off. It stayed on. This is just anecdotal, but it seems like it has a good chance of staying on in the event of the zipper coming undone. Speaking of zipper, it's plastic. It seems sturdy, but I don't think I would trust it if you're bigger than the vest is rated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
