Works great!!
The navigation card works great. It was the appropriate version for my new 2016 Mazda 3 hatchback. I simply inserted it, started the car and it loaded properly. The key thing to keep in mind, that you CANNOT transfer a SD card from one vehicle to another. Once a new SD card is installed in a car, it will only work in that car. I have a 2015 Mazda 3 and found that while it worked great in my '15, it would not work in my new '16. DO NOT BUY A USED SD CARD.... IT WILL NOT WORK IN YOUR CAR.... I recommend this product but with great reservation.
It works ,I guess ,as it is supposed to but it is the worst GPS nav system that a I have ever used. Likely the most annoying aspect for me is the zoom - when set automatic it seems to be either zoomed too far out or too close. When manual it can not be changed when the car is moving. The search for new destinations is extremely quirky and difficult to use - I gave up and bought a portable GPS that is so much easier to use. The only two good things about this product is the ETA to destination seems pretty good and the highway lane interchange display for the off ramps is usually pretty good but you have to pay attention as the display for this starts a bit late and ends too soon before arriving at the off ramps. It is nice to have a built-in GPS but it is so bad and quirky it is almost a joke.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Perfect. Just get it!
Was a bit afraid this would not work. But took the plunge. It is an official Mazda product. Can tell by the way it was packaged. Plugged it in with the car off. Turned on the car. And in about 5 seconds it boots up with the welcome NAV screen! Works perfect. Car does not even have the shark fin antenna but it still works and tracks. I thought they need the shark fin for nav but I guess that is for satellite radio which my car does not have. It is a 2017 Mazda 3 Touring model. A ton less money than what the dealer would charge and they didnt even offer me this as an option! Better Than Spending $300+ for “Labor”
This SD card for my 2016.5 Mazda CX-5 is amazing. $50 some dollars is definitely worth it to get maps in your already navigation ready car. To take it to my local Mazda dealer for parts an labor is $300+ which is ridiculous for them to just insert the SD card. Anyway I put the SD card in and *voila* !! It works. Love it! Saved $450 buying here instead of the dealership
I've had it in my car a week or so, and use it daily. I've had no issues whatsoever. Glad I didn't spend the $550 the dealership was charging.
