Very good antenna performance, but...
This antenna meets and exceeds my performance expectations. It matches beautifully. To nit pick it just a small amount the the top portion of the loading coal readily comes loose. I added some blue thread locker to end that problem. Also tightening the loading coil to a base with a shake proof washer is just okay. Water can migrate in at that the base. Performance is very good, the execution of the design needs improvement. Antenna began having high SWR issues. Water had infiltrated the antenna base.

Best antenna I've ever used.
It pairs great with a uniden bearcat 980 SSB CB radio. I'm at least getting 7 mi of good range if not more with it.
