After 30 years of concealed carry, the Fobus Paddle holster is one of my favorites. Easy on and off, lightweight, comfortable for all day carry. I have a number of them and highly recommend them !

Even with the retention screw fully loosened this holster holds on to my Glock 43 too strongly. The projections that go under the belt are too short to engage sufficiently. Between the too-tight grip on the gun and the too-short projections below the belt, this holster often comes along for the ride when I attempt to draw the gun out of it. When the holster stays attached during the draw, the trigger guard remains covered and the weapon is useless. I own two earlier Fobus paddle back holsters, one for my P226 and one for my CZ-75B. Neither of those has adjustable retention, and neither of them has any of the problems discussed here. Instead of adjustable retention I would have been served with a fixed, single setting retention that was correctly designed.

I have been in law enforcement for 30 years and started using the Fobus holsters back in the 90’s and have been using them ever since for all my hand guns. They are durable, dependable and will last for ever. Fobus is the best off duty and conceal holster that you will find. I bought them for all my Lt’s, Captains and investigators plus myself and the Sheriff.

This, as other Fobus holsters are well made and sized. The only issue that I had was that I own a G43x. The advertisement stated it would fit. Well yes and no. Yes, It “fit” as in the firearm would go in and stay there. No because the extended triggerguard held on for dear life. The only way to reliably get the weapon out was to basically remove the tension screw. I called Fobus and they knew of this, but the holster was made for the G43 only because the 43x and 48 didn’t exist. So... if you need a holster for a G43, don’t hesitate. If your told “it will work”, it’s true... if you prefer a REALLY tight fit

Excellent on the belt holster. Fit's snug and rides close to the body. It takes some adjustment to get the proper release tension for personal gun presentation. The paddle makes it easy to take on and off your belt without having to undo your belt. It stows well in my vehicles glove box or center console for temporary storage, should you have to deal with a liberal's "gun free zone". It does NOT come with a rubberized paddle for holster draw retention. It's a great simple holster and I recommend it for Glock 43 owners.
