Portable & lightweight - convert paper to electronic
The ScanSnap IX-100 is a great little tool to carry for both work and play. Its portability makes it the perfect companion to the laptop and smart phone when working on the road, in the office or from home. I am a bookkeeper so to scan receipts - even the smaller one, invoices and accounts straight into the computer records is a fantastic time saver. It's ease of set-up and also use makes scanning quickly to email or send documents from the smart phone a breeze. You can tweak the settings easily on either computer or smart phone to improve resolution. The file size means it is easily sent where there are limitations on how many MB can be sent. I have used it for his resolution images as well as standard documents and both scan well. The IX-100 is an affordable option to the desktop and has all the features I need to keep electronic files, file them and store on hard drives and reduce the need for paper! If I needed to scan multiple documents at a time, the desktop would be the preferred option but for a quick and easy scan - it is perfect - better than any phone app I have used too. Highly recommended
