This blade is awesome! I had bought a gyokucho saw about 20 yrs ago, and I've been using it for clearing brush, cutting tree roots, pruning bushes, cutting bamboo. And the saw slices through them very quickly and efficiently like a hot knife through butter. Some of the saw teeth (2 teeth), unfortunately got broken off (maybe it was due to the odd angle I placed the saw in as I was sawing?). And this is why I've decided to buy a spare blade. The saw blade with two of it's teeth missing, still saws great; and I still use it. I bought the spare blade because the economy sucks eggs, and I didn't want to wait until the spare saw blade would go up in price to the extent that I couldn't afford it anymore. I decided to buy now, while the prices were manageable and still affordable. :/
