Works fine but short lived.
Finally got around to testing one of these yesterday. I wanted to do a true comparison before writing a review. I have been using Oregon made in USA chains and wanted to try one of these Australia (made in China) models. I can usually run 2 tanks of gas on an Oregon chain before sharpening the chain. I cut about 3/4 tank of gas before the this chain needed critical sharpening. I compared the 2 chains side by side and the Archer chains appears to be good quality and similar in construction but rakers are different (single thickness on the Archer double on the Oregon), not sure if this makes any difference but wanted to note. The cutters looked similar. In short, these chains are about half the price. Every time you sharpen your chain, you use up some of the metal on the cutters. These work fine but will require more frequent sharpening using up the chain faster and less cutting time when in the field. Turns trees into butter
Put the new chain on my saw and noticed immediate results. Of course, cross-cutting across the grain is easiest and probably the way that you are supposed to use a chainsaw.
