The board hair bristles are very short and do not grab hair, it kinda just goes over hair not really brushing. To brush you need to do it in sections which isn't the most efficient way to brush hair. Short or long hair, I do not recommend this brush. Get one with longer than 1/2" bristles. These bristles are too short to do any good. Not at all satisfied with this brush.

bristle are lame
They keep falling out on my hair is spend more time ta king out the last bristle from my hair than I brush with it. It's a good shoe brush cause that's the place it belong to in my life. sorry didn't wanna bass the company but I will not be adding it to my collection.
