This book was my constant companion when I was treated for Panic Disorder 26 yrs ago. Now I have a young cousin suffering terribly & I hope that Dr. Sheehan's book can help him as well. My life was given back to me & I hope that Dr. Sheehan knows what a blessing he has been to so many people. I was never ashamed of Panic Disorder after reading this clear & concise account of the illnes.

I bought my first copy of this book in 1984. That's when I became plagued with physical and emotional symptoms that I didn't understand. At that time, most doctors didn't have much knowledge on panic attacks either. The Anxiety Disease by Dr. Sheehan saved my life. Finally, somebody understood what was wrong with me and how I could get it fixed. I bought this second copy because my first one is so old and deteriorated. I don't really need it, but I like having it in my library.

I bought this book because my brother is going to a psychiatrist and his doctor said that he needed to buy this and read it. "The Anxiety Disease" so far is very good. I bought this a very good price, compared to others, it was at least $20.00 cheaper. I would recomend people going to ebay to buy anything!!
