Not up to original product.
It appeared to be original. I purchased it to replace the original one that I messed up by accident. The diameter of the coil was smaller than the original and the spring barely held up the light. If the light is held up, then the wire can be recoiled weakly. Not sure what the problem is but I've never had a complaint about a Craftsman product made prior to Democrats trashing the products.
