I use it to pull a 1991 YJ Jeep Wrangler for around 2000 miles worked great. Needs a little help by upgrading hardware and chain.
It's a good value if you plan to replace all the 4.8 Metric bolts with hardened Grade 8 bolts. (cap screws) The frame and hitch portion are fine. Chain is thin and too short. Again, invest another $39 to change the pins and bolts to just hardened bolts, buy your own chain... Now it's safer and still a decent price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Worked awesome!!!
I used this tow bar to pull my Chevy crew cab 1 ton dually with a Cummins 5.9 diesel in the bed about 4 miles and the only thing that broke was the flimsy chains. Which I replaced with 5/16 grade 70 chains and never had a single problem with the actual tow bar itself although I did upgrade all the bolts to grade 8.8 . Metal is cheap
This broke. I'm glad it was at low speed, only bumper to bumper damage occurred. The metal brackets that attach to the vehicle must be made out of very cheap material because instead of bending it completely broke as if it was made out of cast iron.
