Not easy finding Cases with a bay to have a internal DVD burner installed and had to Purchase this on ebay because Amazon had no front Blue 3.0 USB.

Good case but the Cons is the mounting screws after screwing them to the case I had trouble finding right size screws to hold motherboard to the mounts, darn screws being too thin and would not tighten the Motherboard on to the case. Had to install MSI Afterburner to increase Video card fan speed because of heat. I had nothing else tweaked.

    Cheap construction, poor quality hardware

Cons: - Side panels dent easily due to being flimsy thin steel. - Case feet are hard plastic and transmit vibration like crazy from my intel CPU fan, I had to use felt pads to dampen - Screws are all painted instead of nickel plated so the paint comes off the screws as a powder as you tighten them, seriously !! - The motherboard back plate has a lot of flex and pushing down on the motherboard to install cards in the slots flexes it much. - 3.5" HDD slots have no vibration dampening whatsoever - Case has no holds in the back to be able to be lifted - I had all of this in a Gateway FX case from years ago so same features are expected from a modern day case - Rosewill (a subsidiary of Newegg) sells this case directly on ebay too, for $5 less, thats ridiculous and I didn't see it until I bought this from Newegg on ebay Pros: - Case has good design overall - Has cable management - Bottom mounted PSU - 3 silent case fans - Good ventilation

  • Very nice box!

This is an exceptionally quiet box, even using all three built-in fans. The design of the external DVD drive bays is good and easy to use. The design of the internal 3.5" drive bays is well thought out and allows access from the side instead of the back, making installing and removing drives a snap. There are NO sharp edges that I've found. I showed our IT guys at work and they were amazed it was only $45. Good design, good looks, good function. What else can you ask for?

  • The Challenger S - Top Gun

This Rosewill Challenger S is a well built case. Mid-tower ATX style with plenty of space. For the price point of fifty dollars, you'd be seriously hard pressed to come close to finding a comparable case. Three 3.5 hdd slots, single mount for 2.5 SSD, two 5.25 slots for your burners. All tool-less. Full sized cards with room to spare and a whopping amount of space for large/long video cards. Plus three large case fans with the two front fans illuminated. Mid-tower ATX motherboard (ASUS Prime Z590A) fit perfectly. EVGA 500W PSU slid right into place with the bottom locate PSU slot. This is a sturdy light weight case. Unlike some of the older tanks, think D3LL, the Challenger S, even fully loaded, is not a challenge to move around your room and place it exactly where you want it. The front facia includes three pre-wired USB ports, headphone/speaker ports along with power and reset button and is easily removed to accommodate your DVD players. There are some complaints about flimsy metal for the case. I do not agree. As mentioned, it is a lightweight case but it's solidly built with gusset support where needed to eliminate flex. As well, in my case with two HDD's churning there is zero vibration. This loaded case is insanely quiet. I've purchased many new D3LL desktop and mid-towers that don't even come close to being as quiet as the Challenger S case. Frankly, there are no con's to this case. If you need a mid tower and want to save money at the same time, you simple can not beat the Rosewill Challenger S offered by Newegg.

  • FIRST RTATE

I LOOKED A LONG TIME FOR A MID TOWER I COULD LIVE WITH. PRIMARY REQUIREMENT WAS MORE THAN 2 USB PORTS. THIS TOWE OFFERD 3, 2- 2.0 AND 1 -3.0. IT OFFERED 1 SSD HD BAY AND 4 ADDITIONAL 3.5 BAYS. ALSO THERE WERE 2 EXTERNAL 3.5 BAYS. THE CAS WAS EQUIPTED WITH 2 120MM FRONT FANS AND 1 REAR FAN. WHAT REALLY MADE IT NICE IS THAT ALL TEH BAYS ARE VSCREW LESS M,AKING INSTALLATION A SNAP. FINALLY BOTH SIDE COVERS ARE REMOVABLE MAKING WIRING A BREEZE. COULDNT HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER CASE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

  • Awesome case for the money,

Used this case in a build for my nephew ,gotta say I can't believe how good it is, case has it all.. Hardly a feature it's without. Tool-less drive and hdd bays, ssd, liquid, room for any size gpu, tons of places for 120mm fans with the included. Packs a serious punch for $40. Look no further, sure the metal is a little thin but if you're not planning on standing on it it'll work fine.. Even comes with a cool little hex socket for tightening the mobo spacer pins.. For the price? It's a 5/5 would buy again.

  • Very Nice

This case exceeded my expectations at every level. This case is rock solid with nice well labeled wires. Very nice well painted screws risers and internal bays well every thing is a low luster black not quite matte but not glossy. The large blue LED front fans look great with a cool curving effect like a vortex. A large back fan in flat black. Plenty of screws and risers even a couple of small cable ties were included as well as some sort main ATX connector socket to make the job easier the book said. I did not use it. I added two optical drives so I had to give up the touch of blue trim on the front. However my DVD drives are the same black color so it is okay. The only bad thing I can say about it is that the power light is a very very bright red led. I do not like that I will disconnect that as it is not needed you can see the computer is powered on by the front fan leds. This case has 2 USB Ports, 1 USB 3 port, Head phone and mike port right out in the open at the very top easy to access I love that. I have been using the same (really Cool) case since 2002. This new case took the sting out of loosing my old much loved case.

  • Great mid size case, check specs!

Great over all, just wish there was more room in the opposing side to fit more cables. Its pushing out quite a bit. However, compared to local shops, i would had paid almost twice the cost. Worth the buy! Recommended!

  • Hot Case with Cool Capabilities!

Incredibly versatile and functional item - Lots of space for harddrives and CD-DVD-RW drives; great inner room near motherboard for PCI-based "cards" and really cool design on putting the Power Supple at the BOTTOM of the case, instead of the TOP. I am very satisfied with using it for my mATM-motherboard and LOTS of drives! Also too: Lots of places/spaces for putting in 120mm fans! Totally cool!!!
