The Challenger S - Top Gun
This Rosewill Challenger S is a well built case. Mid-tower ATX style with plenty of space. For the price point of fifty dollars, you'd be seriously hard pressed to come close to finding a comparable case. Three 3.5 hdd slots, single mount for 2.5 SSD, two 5.25 slots for your burners. All tool-less. Full sized cards with room to spare and a whopping amount of space for large/long video cards. Plus three large case fans with the two front fans illuminated. Mid-tower ATX motherboard (ASUS Prime Z590A) fit perfectly. EVGA 500W PSU slid right into place with the bottom locate PSU slot.
This is a sturdy light weight case. Unlike some of the older tanks, think D3LL, the Challenger S, even fully loaded, is not a challenge to move around your room and place it exactly where you want it. The front facia includes three pre-wired USB ports, headphone/speaker ports along with power and reset button and is easily removed to accommodate your DVD players.
There are some complaints about flimsy metal for the case. I do not agree. As mentioned, it is a lightweight case but it's solidly built with gusset support where needed to eliminate flex. As well, in my case with two HDD's churning there is zero vibration. This loaded case is insanely quiet. I've purchased many new D3LL desktop and mid-towers that don't even come close to being as quiet as the Challenger S case.
Frankly, there are no con's to this case. If you need a mid tower and want to save money at the same time, you simple can not beat the Rosewill Challenger S offered by Newegg.
