Good sound and good price for a headband style, wired, sports headphones.
The Sonxtronic headphones work well. I haven't had them long, but I have used them every day since they arrived for at least 2 hours each day while I hike, including when it has been well below zero fahrenheit. Comfortable Lightweight Haedphones, Limited Sound Quality
The Sonxtronic xdr-8000 is advertised as "W08-style", and it does match the W08 in size & fit. The volume is a bit louder than the name-brand W08, which is an improvement. However, the sound fidelity is not quite as good as the W08, and a very finicky listener might not be totally satisfied with the music reproduction. Sonxtronic xdr-8000 headset is the best!
I love this style headset because I have hearing loss in one ear and cannot understand what is being said if I don't hear it in stereo. The ear piece sits very comfortably inside your ear so that the sound is projected right into your ear canal. Not only can I hear everything I listen to, I can hear at a lower volume - no more blasting my iPod to enjoy my podcasts. This headset is so lightweight and comfortable, I sometimes forget I have it on. I definitely recommend this product to everyone who uses a headset.

Replacement for Sony MDR W08
If you have used the Sony MDR W08 and do not have almost $200 to replace them, then this is the headphones for you. They are excellent, great and superb! They are a little expensive but not almost $200 worth. I used to buy the Sony MDR W08 for $9.99. What happened to them to have them sky-rocket to $189.00 I have no idea! They must have been the best and Sony did not realize it! I use to buy 4 at a time. This substitute will do!!! I do wish they were cheaper than $25.00 cause then I would buy at least 10!!! Can handle the hard rock

Definately not a substitute for the Sony MDR Headphones. Same style but not same quality. The adjustments are loose and never stay in place. The edges of earbuds are not very smooth and uncomfortable. The sound has too much treble not enough bass and cannot handle being turned up louder.....distortion. Sony had it right years ago....
.... to me this is the best design for headphones on the go ... if i'm out riding a bike or just around the house, they are small & light, and *stay on your head* ... and the sound is terrific ...
