Nearly Perfect for the Right Situation
This is a surprisingly good sounding speaker/amp for the size (5.5" speaker) and price. It's perfect for a small rehearsal room, which is how I'm using it for vocals. There is absolutely no noise when it's idle. Very nice. One feature that would make it perfect would be an effects loop.

Small but with a large sound.
Better than advertised by Mackie. Plenty of power to serve as a close or near field monitor. The quality is standard Mackie. I may also use this as an emergency sound system for smaller rooms.
