What I expected, but better. Really good build quality, but a bit slow with a 500gb HDD and only 4gb ram. I have changed both, with 250gb Crucial SSD drive and upgraded 4gb to 8gb ram. What a transformation and now what a brilliant laptop. A bit old you say, but it’s an Apple MacBook Pro what else could you want at this price? I am totally impressed with this beautifully built and solid machine, which I think will last for years. Go Apple, go MacBook Pro!

Granted the body of this laptop is from 2012 (which is clearly stated in the listing) so maybe is a bit heavier than the newer models, but the performance has been excellent. What a complete bargain. I’ve always had refurbed macs and this looks like another winner. Superb condition and does everything I need it to. Should last me quite a few years. One tiny criticism is the lid seems to have been over tightened so it’s slightly stiff when opening but I should be able to sort that. Highly recommended.

The laptop I received was in excellent condition, seems to have been hardly used and had protective case so not a scratch on it. It had also been fully upgraded to the maximum ram size and an SSD making it fast. The temperatures were fine on it as other Mac's I have used overheat, this was the only thing I was worried about but this one was perfectly fine. Overall I am very pleased and fortunate to have found a well looked after MacBookPro. Latest Mac OS is not supported but it does what is required.

I was devastated when my 10 year old MacBook Pro refused to boot up in Safe mode in recovery mod and even in Online mode. On doing a search for refurbished MacBook pros eBay came at the top of Googles search. I found one in eBay at a very good price but was a bit concerned when it stated in the description 'that it ay have minor wear and tear cosmetic signs or some cosmetic imperfections. But when it arrived I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was just one very small dent in the outer casing. I have had the pleasure of working with the Mac over the past couple of weeks and would certainly recommend buying a refurbished MacBook from eBay.

Bought to replace a 7 year old MacBook which had given excellent service but was very slow by current standards and had run out of storage space. This new unit is spectacular by comparison and very quick, with a massive hard drive, latest intel processor, vastly improved display etc. I like the much thinner and lighter unit with the aluminium case, illuminated keyboard and additional features like the built in card reader and connection systems. I would rather have had one more USB port as there is space for it and the procedure to replace the battery and or increase the RAM is more complex than on the old model. Overall I love this new MacBook Pro. I have a Dell Laptop which I still use fairly often for various Windows applications but overall I much prefer the MacBook for its simplicity, speed and security.Read full review
It works so much quicker than my old computer, I don’t think I’d ever not buy an Apple Mac Pro in the future. Everything is in great working order and the screen is good as new. There are just a couple of minor scratches from wear and tear on the casing but I can live with these. The computer came very speedily and was well wrapped. I didn’t realise but this model is a lot heavier than the Apple Mac Air model, but it’s still much lighter than my old computer!
