Learning by doing.
To make it easier to pull control cables internally, buy the 10 - 12 inch ape extension cable kit. I guess I can tell that it's impossible to pull the molly connector pins trough the apes 90 degree bend. Make it easy for yourself, cut the pins, pull cables, solder extension cables with Molly connector pins after. With TBW and heated grips, the right side was a fight pulling cables internally. The internal RADIUS at the 1" TBW seat is a bit narrow, so if your heated grips are third part, wow internal mounted heating element, it will not fit and has to be removed. I guess it's possible to hone internally to widen, but it's a serious job. Short version, when finally mounted, 100% satisfied.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

La choppers 10" twin peaks
I have a 13 hd ultra limited. For 3 years I would ride this wonderful motorcycle and wonder why my shoulders and neck were locking up after an all day ride. The stock handlebars suck...that's why. These look great, feel great, and I'm pain free after riding all day. Stuck with the 10" because I didn't want to deal with wiring extensions and I'm happy with my decision. 10in apes feel good!
The bars are heavy duty much stronger than stock. The finish is nice. The bars are as tall as can be while still being behind fairing. They relieved my back pain from having to reach down for stock bars now I have better posture and my grips are higher. The only down side was that the throttle side of the bars seems to be bent towards the tank not allowing as much pullback as these bars are capable of. They hit my console on my tank so i sacrificed some pullback to not hit the tank. I took it to harley dealer to try to adjust with tech but no matter what we did the bar would not allow for a little more pullback. All in all the bars allow me turn much more aggressively and feel more in control of bike. I recommend these bars because they were half the price of the ones I really wanted and they look and feel good they kust dont have the pullback I hoped for but they will due!
