This part is aftermarket, but for the price it worked great. a week before leaving on a trip my regulator crashed and burned. Needing to get on fast and in time, it worked out perfectly. Far superior quality replacement for old iron with alternator conversion
I put a alternator conversion on my 1976 XLCH 1000 and the voltage regulator that comes with it burned up. After figuring out the OEM replacement part number I found these and they work very reliably as long as they are properly grounded (ground thru mounting it)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
