Watch your stack height!
Replaced clutch in a 2014 duke 690 with 6k miles. Friction plates are great, a bit grabby, just what I was hoping for. I first used the metal plates in the kit, but the clutch would not fully disengage, I took it for a rip thinking it may just need to break in, it did not. Took back apart, had twisted the bottom plate in the stack, so I replaced them all with the original ktm metals, just reversed the stack order. That did the trick, perfect disengagement...also, bleed your clutch line when done in case any air got in from putting the bike on its side. I used the speed motorex 10w60 full synthetic with zero slipping issues, in fact I had the rear tire lock for a split second while hard engine braking on the first ride out, slipper clutch took a second to start slipping. This is exactly the level of friction I was looking for, I would only purchase the friction plates and springs if I had to do it again.
