Plastic handle broke after just a few throws
The metal blade is good, but the plastic handle broke after just a few throws. It fits onto a standard broom handle, so it can be used as a spear. I plan to cut a broom handle short to allow it to be thrown as a knife again. The top "edge" is not sharp, but I was able to sharpen it with a file and then regular sharpening methods after i got a basic blade shape formed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

There are three general parts: the blade, the hilt with female threads for broom handle attachment, and the handle end for use without broom handle. Of those three, only the blade is metal. PROS. 1) small light weight. 2) screws on any broom handle. 3) balanced 4) good price 5) the "slot " in the middle has many uses, that I have found. CONS. 1) 1/2 the handle is plastic.
