Shocks work, but some modifications required.
Shocks were sold as appropriate for 1978 Honda CX500. The top diameter is larger than stock, necessitating grinding the motorcycle frame and removing the luggage rack. Also, the supplied rubber grommets were the wrong size for the bike. The originals fit in the eyelets, so I was able to mount the shocks. The shocks seem to work OK, but they are not a direct replacement.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
