Good Enough
This the 3rd Galaxy S5 I've had. It works just fine for my limited needs (e.g. phone, text, email, Uber, Pandora, Maps, etc.) I will say it has way too much bloatware. Samsung should use its market power to produce a simple phone that does not have a bunch of useless apps that are dictated by the wireless carrier and consume a lot of memory and download GB to update.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good phone...but some features don't function very well
Overall a good phone but the biggest disappointment has been the speaker phone feature, which does not function very well. I don't like holding the phone to my head when talking (to avoid radiation to my brain) so I always use speakerphone, and I also use speaker phone when I drive. The other caller can barely hear me unless my mouth is right next to the phone. Previously, on my Galaxy S3, I had no issues with the other caller hearing me, with the phone 6-8 inches away. For this reason, there is a good chance I will switch back to the S3. Not sure if this problem is specific to my particular phone, or specific to this model.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

good features, battery life stinks
Yes, this is brand new, but the battery already stinks. good features, but not great like I expected with an "expensive cell phone." I've always had the cheapie $30-$40 phones, usually the ones my husband upgraded from, so I expected amazing features. And this phone hasn't delivered. I'm learning it though, and finding ways to make it work. Very disappointed with the battery life though. Great phone, mediocre battery life
I have wanted an s5 for 4 years, but I pay cash for my phones and cannot pay what they were costing until recently. The price is now in my range. Overall it's a great machine. I only have two issues with it, and one of those may be fixable. The first is battery life. I have to plug it in by lunch time to keep it viable throughout the day. I'm playing with various tweaks to help that. The jury is still out. The second, likely fixable, is I cannot email sound files from it. It says it's emailing them but they arrive sans-attachment. Tried and true Samsung
Phone is a good value. One of the reasons I purchased it was for the camera, and I wasn't disappointed. It has a solid feel and a sharp display screen. Memory is small so I put pictures etc. On My Drive. The battery did not last as long as some reviews, so purchased another one and get about 20 hrs. on a charge. The old s5 was perfect for its time
I got this about four years ago and it served me well until it just gave out a few weeks ago. The right size, good crisp screen, adequate camera, and very usable virtual keyboard. I loved this device and it lasted long past its intended lifetime. Replaceable battery, too. Also has a slot for an SD card so its rather small memory can be enhanced and you can load a ton of stuff on there. I never put in a SIM card so can't speak it its quality as an actual telephone, just used it as a PDA, for which it was more than adequate. This phone is thin and has a large screen. It's extremely fast. The screen feels bigger than the actual size but remain small in the hand. One down side is the back cover message and charge port cover message come up after every reboot and after every charge. It can be anoying . Comfortable size
I did like the size of the cell phone, you can hide it on your packets easly and it won`t bather you, the screen i believe is a very very good size 5.1 inch allows you to watch videos and play games with no problems. i didnt like that this particular phone the one i received keeps giving me sim card error since the begining from time to time and now it is getting worse, it is happening more often now i get the sim card error 3-4 times per day. Not the best Samsung galaxy
This phone is somewhat a disappointment. With normal use with mostly text messaging battery will not last all day without charging. Not enough memory for a phone that has no sd card. Great phone
Great phone, bought it to replace my old Galaxy S4 since some of the upgraded apps wouldn't work with tho older version of Android that was on it. Only glitch I had was trying to get it to connect to my computer, I kept getting an error message and computer wouldn't recognize the phone. Found out the easy way to fix the problem was to use an older charging cable. It plugs right into the right side of the new phone's charging port. I'm now able to view and edit my files and folders on the phone and memory card just the same as my old phone.
